Arp's at The Creede Hotel

We are hiring for the 2024 Summer Season for the Restaurant.

The Historic Creede Hotel was built in 1892. Creede is a remote silver mining town situated between two picturesque mountain ranges at the headwaters of the Rio Grande. We have a BRAND NEW State of the Art kitchen that services about 50 inside and about 80 in our beautiful tent covered courtyard that has a stage with lots of live entertainment. We are open from Tuesday to Sunday for lunch from 11am to 2pm, dinner from 5pm to 8pm and Sunday brunch from 10am to 2pm.  We are situated on main street that has an iconic view of the cliffs and are right next door to the Creede Repertory Theater, one of the top 10 in the US.

We are still hiring Servers for the Summer 2024 season and it will run until October first.

We are looking for experienced, hard-working personalities that are compatible with our current team.  We are growing fast and would love to find talent that would consider making this a yearly migration. We are opening Friday, May 10th and are looking for Servers who can commit to the entire Summer season.

We have limited employee housing at $600 per room plus 2 person shared bathroom, including utilities.

Server Requirements/Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years server experience preferred
• Willing to crosstrain as a barback
• Customer Service

• Able to work split shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Server Responsibilities:

• Serves patrons with food and beverages in a positive and friendly manner
• Provides information to help food and beverage selections
• Presents ordered choices in a prompt and efficient manner
• Prepares room for dining by clothing tables and setting decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, and utensils
• Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
• Transmits orders to bar and kitchen by recording patrons’ choices and identifying patrons’ special dietary needs and special requests
• Serves orders by picking up and delivering patrons’ choices  from bar and kitchen and delivering accompaniments and condiments from service bars
• Responds to additional patron requirements by inquiring of needs and observing dining process
• Maintains table setting by removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, refilling water glasses, and being alert to patron spills or other special needs
• Concludes dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant and inviting patrons to return
• Obtain revenues by totaling charges, issuing bills, accepting payments, delivering bills, and returning change or credit card and signature slip to patrons
